This boot has been engineered to offer protection in applications of extreme conditions ranging from fluctuating heat and exposure and acids, oils, and chemicals to wet environments and highly abrasive terrains. Available in sizes 4 -14
Upper:
- 2.2mm Full Grain Leather upper
- The padded collar and bellows tongue are from a soft Bovine Leather split for enhanced comfort and to prevent debris from entering the boot
- 4 pair corrosion resistant metal lace guides and 1 pair metal hooks
- Fire retardant braided lace from nylon yarn with central core for additional strength
- Engineered with pull-back tab for ease of entering and exiting the boot
Lining:
- The quarter lining is from an industrial quality Dri-Lex type poly knitted material for abrasion resistance
- The vamp lining is from a hi-tech needle fibre blend with excellent perspiration absorbency and treated with *UltraFresh to impart hygienic and anti-bacterial properties to the material
- The in-sock is from an anti-static elastomeric bonded cellulosic board
- The anti-static top sock is from anatomically moulded Polyurethane for enhanced comfort and support with superior
climate control properties for fast-acting moisture absorption
Sole:
- The sole is from a Dual Compound Closed Cell Rubber
- The midsole is from a low density flexible rubber with a shore hardness of 0.40 - 0.45
- The outer sole is from 6mm rubber with a SRC slip resistance rating
- The sole offers 100% waterproofing
- The sole can withstand temperatures up to 300°C radiant and direct heat
- The boot is anti-static Toe Cap: • Steel – extra-wide fitting
- Can withstand an impact load of 200 joules
- The Gabbro boot has been tested to comply with EN / ISO 20345 specifications and carries the EN / ISO 20345 certified mark.
