The Lemaitre Osprey Hiker Safety Boot is designed for tough work environments where durability, protection and all-day comfort are essential. Ideal for industries such as mining, construction, agriculture and general industrial work, it delivers dependable performance shift after shift. Constructed with a durable full grain leather upper, the boot is reinforced with scuff-resistant leather panels at the heel and toe to protect against impacts, abrasion and site wear. A steel toe cap provides reliable impact protection, while the double density sole offers an effective balance of flexibility, stability and long-lasting durability. Inside, the ergonomically moulded Lemaitre Elastopan climate-controlled top sock cushions every step while helping regulate temperature to keep feet cool, dry and hygienic. A padded collar delivers secure ankle support, and the moisture-wicking lining enhances comfort during extended wear.
Upper:
- Cut from a 2.0mm – 2.2 mm Pull Up full grain leather.
- S2 Leather scuff with PU coating on back counter and vamp.
- 10mm Extra padded collar and bellows tongue.
- 4 pairs Mogul eyelets and 2 pairs lace hooks.
- Heel stiffener for shape longevity
- 125cm Black braided nylon laces.
Lining:
- Laminated vamp lining with 10mm foam open cell PU on collar and tongue for enhanced comfort and breathability.
- Quarter and tongue lining made from a Cambrill non-woven material laminated to 4mm foam for enhanced comfort and excellent ventilation.
In-Sock & Top Sock:
- Footology Elastopan climate control insole is an ergonomically moulded insole which provides superior cushioning, lightweight comfort, breathabilily and durability.
- PU Elastopan material ensures good thermal regulation to keep feet cool.
- Treated with anitbacterial and antimicrobial agent which provides optimum foot hygiene and combats infections.
- Anti-static stitch conducts electricity away from the foot.
Toe Cap:
- Steel Toe Cap.
- Can withstand an impact of 200 Joules.
- Tan is also available with a Soft Toe - SB8238B.
Sole:
- Shank reinforcement for additional arch support.
- The sole is made from Double Density PU/PU.
- The midsole is made from a flexible low density Polyurethane with a shore hardness of 45 – 55.
- The outer sole is made from a high durability Polyurethane with a shore hardness of 55 – 70.
- The boot can withstand temperatures up to 95˚C.
- The boot is anti-static.
