Pienaar Brothers, a leading provider of Personal Protective Equipment, proudly supported the Northern Cape Mine Managers Association (NCMMA) SHE Day on November 2, 2024. This important event brought together mines from the Northern Cape and served as a platform to showcase various safety, health, and environmental (SHE) skills and best practices. Additionally, the event featured a miner's pageant in which Pienaar Brothers dressed the models in tailored safety wear designed specifically for women.

“This was the first Women in Mining Pageant hosted in South Africa in the Northern Cape. This event aimed to show unity in the workplace among men and women and highlights that diversity among workers can be overcome by uniting all by sharing a common goal. PPE unites workers as it is not just the colour *Pink* that makes the product specific for females, it is the best fit for purpose for all men/women/sizes/applications. The 19 models showed for the first time how to be confident in being a woman in a male dominated environment, to have fun and to set an example for others to follow. It was great to see the event crowd moving to the stage to cheer the PPE Models and forgetting about the other competitions running on the side. This was the highlight of the day!”
